• Warranty only covers battery manufacturing defects (e.g. short circuit)
– Only authorized mechanics from Battery Express may carry out warranty claims.
– Consequential liabilities will not be entertained.
• Warranty does not cover:
– Defective alternator/starter
– Alternator overcharging/undercharging (Min: 13.5V. Max: 14.4V)
– Battery malfunction due to deep discharge (<10.5V). Deep discharge can happen due to negligence (e.g. not switching off interior lights), or electronic gadgets (e.g. 24hr dash-cam recording). If a car battery is consistently kept in a state of deep discharge (<12.3V), sulfation will occur and result in shortened battery lifespan.
– Damage due to human mistakes (e.g. accidents)
– Transfer to 3rd party or different vehicle
– Non-vehicular application
– Prolonged storage resulting in battery failure
